Merry Christmas 2006!

We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. We cannot wait to see you all in Michigan...only 2 more days!!! Yea!
These are a couple of our Christmas card pics we used. Kendra had so much fun laughing at mommy putting silly things on Daddy's head :)! And he was such a good sport too. Thanks, honey!

The family shot we took with a timer, and Kendra would just smile at the blinking light. Oh, I wish all photo shoots with an 18 month old were that easy :)!

Love you all...Merry Christmas!

First Santa Visit!

Just like our previous Larry Boy experience at Chick Filet, Kendra only likes Santa from a distance :)! She was so excited all day. Saying "ho, ho, ho,", and pretending to blow him kisses etc. Then when we got there she was still excited, and blowing him kisses, waving, smiling, etc. all until his white glove reached out and touched her. Then she freaked out!!!! Santa was so funny (you can see in one of the pics) b/c he threw his hands up as if to say "I didn't do it!" :)!
Such cruel parents, I know!

Then she wouldn't let me go after that. We'll try again next year :).

Buddies!

Kendra and Hayley are such buddies! I am so glad I have the opportunity to watch Hayley each week so Kendra has a little friend. They are only 4 months apart, so it is perfect! They have been together for over a year now.
The other day they were sitting and watching Baby Einstein together, and it was so cute. Kendra was giving her a kiss, and they were holding hands (like they always do). So I had to snap some pics. Before lunch when we pray too, they always reach over for each other's hand. It is the best!!!
The funniest part about Kendra and Hayley being friends is that I dated Hayley's dad in college for a while. I am so glad we are still friends, and now our girls play together. Who would've thought :)!

"I Can Do it Myself!"

Kendra is working on putting her own socks and shoes on, and is so cute that I just had to share it with ya'll :)! "The hard part is that silly velcro that sticks to my socks!!":)

Oh Boy!!!!

I was straightening my hair this morning as Kendra was playing in her room (like usual), but when she was unusually quiet I went in to check on her and...

DIAPERS, MOMMY!

She kept saying her Elmo sounds over and over again, and began showing me all the fun characters on her diapers. I just had to laugh, and we cleaned them up together.

Christmas Traditions!

I just love Christmas traditions, and I would love to have you all share your favorite family tradition(s).
I read one the other day in a Family Fun magazine, and it really got me thinking about which one(s) we want to start with our family.

Please share any cool ideas you have!

Love you all, and we can't wait to see many of you soon for Christmas!!!!!

Our Celebrity Look-alikes! :)

Thanks, Annie for introducing me to this fun site!! My family had some good laughs tonight...What a riot! You all gotta try it.

Kendra's Mohawk!

I have too much fun playing with Kendra's hair (now that she has some :))!

Last night I decided to give her a mohawk, and she kept looking at herself and just cracking up (along with us :))! Oh, so fun!! The things we do now for a laugh...Ha, Ha!

X Box Pro!

Chris introduced Kendra to his XBox the other day, and she was so cute. Never thought I would be encouraging the XBox, but it was funny :)! And she had so much fun! Daddy thought it was great, of course :)!!! So we just had to snap some pics.

Leaves in December???

Kendra loves playing in the leaves (like any kid would)! I just love living here in the South where we can still play in the grass in December!! And we don't have to go out with layers and layers of clothing on while not even being able to move :)! You know like on The Christmas Story when the poor little guy falls over :)?! So funny!
The other day we had cold weather for down here (50's), and Kendra's balance was off a bit with her "big" coat on :)! It was so funny!
